Sol’e Couture
A New Sol’e for Every Woman
Ultra Flexible Paint is a product mostly known by dancers but now has been released globally for both street and designer shoes. The collection also extends to womenswear and accessories.
Sol’e Couture is a flexible, ultra-easy applicable shoe paint one that lets you restore Couture as
well as condition it at the same time.
The founder of this funky label Teresa Sewell gained her inspiration from her daughter’s dancing. Her idea came about when she realised the current couture market didn’t supply much range when it came to colours and more importantly the stress of dancing destroyed perfectly good dancing shoes.
Along with embracing the multicultural environment here in Australia Teresa also acknowledges the
fashion eras of other countries such as Japan, Korea, France, Italy and Russia. To reflect this
colours have names like Ginza Café Au Laite, Chidetechi De Teagu White and Tverskyan Tan. There are 23 wonderful different colours of the product, including metallics such as copper & pewter.
Teresa Sewell hopes to bring a new concept & image to shoe paints at this year’s 2006 Everywoman Expo where she may well ask you ‘Are you as passionate about dance and couture as me?’
Sol’e Couture is part of the designedge fashion incubator located at the Belmont Forum Shopping Centre and the incubator has its own section at the expo.
The Designedge fashion incubator is a creative retail outlet that showcases the talents of local fashion designers. The largest community incubator of it’s kind in Australia the outlet not only gives local fashion designers a chance to display their work but it gives interested parties the chance to make an appointment and meet the designer in person.
