A Fashion Delight in Beach!

Exotic and luxurious are two key words that come to mind when looking at the gorgeous pieces fashioned by Beach House Creations The unique, hand crafted designs allow the wearer to walk the catwalk while walking the beach.

The label started as a selection of one off constructions for private customers but designer, Cara Schmidt, knew she could give so much more. "I thought, why not have matching sarong and sandals or a hat to go along with the suits," recalls Cara. Cara thought this idea and use of intricate beading and artistic flair could transfer into a ready to wear label. It was this type of innovative thinking and a sound business sense that has made this company into the international fashion house it is.

Of course this is a label that does not stop at swimwear. The designs have been developed and transferred into other articles of clothing including accessories, bags, jewelry, shoes, singlets, belts, caps, jackets, cargo pants, and tops.

Cara is proud to encompass the idea of a free body image; she does not like to design pieces that can only be worn by a certain type of person. Cara’s designs are made to suit many shapes, sizes and tastes. “Not to be cliché but I try to design a suit to suit anyone,” says Cara. And she certainly achieves this.

To prove this ideal the range offers a flattering array of one-piece lace up, strapless, bandeau, body and “comfort” suits in all lines. The little girl’s collection parallel’s the big girls’ styles and accessories and flair with beads, butterflies, denim and sequins and with “dress up” appeal. The men and boys range includes bathers, shorts, rashguards and beach shirts.

Previous collections have featured basic colour lycra, cotton blends or hand crochet suits with unique application of ornaments, including glass, ceramic or wooden beads, charms, shells, pearls or embroidery.
