Samaras
A Touch of Europe
Samaras is a label for the woman of independence who dresses with her femininity in mind.
Each piece in the Samaras collection is a creation of style and grace. Samaras brings a breath of fresh air to evening wear. The pieces are uncomplicated, comfortable yet elegant and feminine.
Designer, Jaqueline Samaras began this label in 2002 when she returned to Australia from London. In London she had been working in international design house Nicole Farhi and refining her skills in the art of draping and toileing, a technique she continues to use in her own pieces. Jaqueline also traveled throughout Europe and began gathering a collection of fine and luxurious fabrics.
All the Samaras garments are produced in silk and other luxurious natural fibres and each piece is designed and manufactured in Australia.
Samaras is suitable for day and evening. The label prides itself on creating those statement pieces and those who cannot find exactly what they are looking for can contact Samaras to discuss their bespoke design services.
Samaras will be displaying their latest range at the designedge fashion incubator agents showroom at the Spring Summer Mercedes Australian Fashion Week in conjunction with 14 other emerging West Australian designer labels.

designedge fashion incubator - belmont has shown its significance to the fashion industry in Western Australia with its constant growth and development. Established by TCFWA & Belmont BEC in February 2005, it is now the largest community based fashion incubator in Australia, housing over 70 West Australian labels. It offers a magnitude of opportunities to fashion labels at all stages of development from established to emerging designers by providing a retail outlet for them to sell their collections to the general public as well as offer them a base where national and international agents can view their collections. With the strong industry connections and know how of Carol Hanlon at the helm, the initiative also offers its designers wishing to start a new fashion label or to grow their existing label the tools to develop a successful small business in the fashion industry.
