Samaras
SamarasTM... Uncompromising Style!
Perth based designer, Jacqueline Samaras launched her new label samaras® in January 2003 for the spring 2003/4 collections.
Jacqueline samaras® opened her first flagship shop in Fremantle in August 2003, and by March 2004 samaras® was invited to show the collection as part of “FotoFreo” at the Moores Gallery, Fremantle, resulting in her first single Runway Parade.
samaras® is a collection of dresses that brings back the feeling of the 30;s using soft lines and uneven hems. A dress destination label in the mid to upper level price point selling to women in the 25-45 year age bracket. Inspired by women in an age of independence, samaras® women dress with femininity in mind, and are confident yet comfortable, elegant and sensual. The female form should be enhanced, not restricted. The samaras® mastery of draping sculpts dresses that float off the body.
Luxury finishes are the key to each beautiful samaras® dress. Each dress is crafted using soft silks in satin, georgette, jersey and chiffon. The samaras® palette infuses muted tones, florals that bring happiness to the day, and metals that shimmer in the evening light.
Most dresses in the collection are suitable for day or evening wear, however, if you are looking for the most glamorous luxe evening wear, samaras®will have something for you.
samarasTM will be located at the Australian Designer Showcase Exhibition Stand V02 Hall 4 at Fashion Exposed, trade exhibition in Sydney and will also be available for private showings or appointments.
