A Pregnant Pause for Fashion

280 days is the average amount days in a pregnancy. Karen Tucek knows this like the back of her hand; she put a lot of research into her fashion label, TWOEIGHTZERO. You can’t argue with the experience behind being pregnant and giving birth four times.

“I have just given birth to my 4th child on Monday the 8th September 2003 and it feels like I have been pregnant for the past 5 years.” During her pregnancies Karen felt a lack in the availability of stylish and affordable maternity wear and decided that she was the person to do something about it.

During my pregnancies I have worked hard to design and produce a range of clothing that is not only comfortable but stylish and elegant, from casual to evening, from sleep to swim wear.”

Karen strives to accentuate the beauty of pregnancy through her designs, dwelling on the beautiful curves highlighted during pregnancy. The designs are also constructed to allow the garments to be worn before, during and after pregnancy. This gives the label an edge of versatility, diversity and affordability.

Karen has included casual wear, business wear, evening wear, swim wear, sleep wear and exercise wear in her range and makes sure that each piece carries comfort, fashion, style, elegance and practicality.

“Pregnancy is an exciting period in a woman’s life, I want you to look good and feel good.  Flaunt it and enjoy it.”
