Designedge National Training & Mentoring Project
Designedge Fashion Incubator National Training & Mentoring Project assists new and emerging fashion, jewellery & accessory designers with mentoring, training, e-commerce and business skills. The project includes a ‘virtual’ national communication network; business workshops, industry forums; ‘online’ designer shops; links with agents/retailers; wool product development; sourcing TCF Global fashion networks; support for Indigenous designers with new opportunities and an Indigenous fashion business support directory. The project will also explore opportunities to develop a national ‘virtual’ designedge fashion incubator network and has a focus on multicultural, indigenous and young designers.
The Designedge National Training & Mentoring Project is an Australian Government funded project under the Building Entrepreneurship in Small Business Program (BESB) and is supported by the Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre of WA (TCFWA), Designedge Fashion Incubator, Belmont BEC – Small Business Centre Belmont (SBC),WA Dept of Food & Agriculture Wool Program, Business & Professional Women WA, Australia Post, PMS Marketing, sponsors, supporters & volunteers.
